Lead Time

Our standard production lead time is 16-20 weeks until until your items are ready to be shipped. Shipping time will depend on the shipping service selected at checkout and on the shipping destination entered. After checkout is completed, an order confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. Make sure to check that the email address you enter is correct before confirming your order at checkout. We will email you within 7 business days of your order confirmation to let you know the estimated date your items will be ready to be shipped. Bespoke and Couture designs may require a longer lead time, especially if we are designing a custom embroidery or beading. Please contact us for details, we are happy to give you approximate lead times based on your design.

Payment

Payments will be processed in full, including shipping charges if applicable, at the time your order is placed.

Rush Orders

Rush orders are approved on a case by case basis depending on fabric availability and workroom capacity. Rush fees may apply to cover the cost of expedited fabric and/or scaling workroom capacity. In our experience, approximate rush fees are: 12-16 week lead time, $150. 6-12 week lead time, $250. 4-6 week lead time, $650. Under 4 weeks, add apx 30% to gown price. Please contact us to see if your order can be expedited.

Domestic Shipping

Shipping in the USA is calculated upon checkout. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS. Expedited shipping is available upon checkout, rates will automatically be calculated. Please note that the customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with exchanges or returns. See our return policy for more details.

International Shipping & Duties

We currently ship individual orders to the following countries via UPS for a flat rate of $250 for the first item and $75 for each additional item: Japan, Spain, Norway, Australia, Belgium, Canada, UK, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. Email us at hello@amandajamesbridal.com if you would like us to ship to your country. 

Please note, all international orders are final sale and international shipping is non-refundable. Amanda James is not responsible for fees charged by customs; all taxes and duties are to be paid in full by the customer. We are required by law to declare the full amount of the invoice and the entire contents of the package on the customs declaration form and accompanying invoice. The recipient is responsible for payment of import taxes, and the existence of any tax, Duties or VAT will not be grounds to return your purchase. If you decide to refuse any shipment from Amanda James, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Amanda James. On the rare occasion a package is returned, the customer is responsible for the full shipping costs associated with re-shipping the item, which often exceeds the initial flat rate shipping fee.

Tracking & Shipping Procedures

Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Items that are ordered together may be shipped separately. Please note, to protect your purchase, a signature will be required on all shipments. If you prefer to have your order shipped without signature, please contact hello@amandajamesbridal.com. For questions about delivery, please contact the carrier directly. Make sure to double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order. We are unable to reroute packages once they have shipped. Please note, once Amanda James has released the merchandise to the carrier, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. If a package is shipped to the address associated with an order, but deemed undeliverable by the carrier and is returned to our studio, the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping the goods. Amanda James will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. Amanda James does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that any returned package is lost, stolen or mishandled.
